12/14/24 A Counter-Intuitive Empire-Building Hack

Reading time: 1 stuffed-up minute

Hi Reader!

You gotta love a double-hyphenate situation (see: subject line), amiright?

This'll be quick because I'm not quite fully recovered--

Here's my #1 empire building hack: prioritizing my health.

The EBM Class of 2025 kick-off and shenanigans, followed by a whirlwind trip to Atlanta pushed my immune system to the brink.

Upon my return I had a to do list a mile long, including Thursday's email. More important than my daily email?

Feeling great! So I opted to turn in early (8:15 p.m.!), and I slept until 8:30 a.m. It felt amazing! And now, so do I! (Well, almost.)

I'm still on the mend and I'm going to spend today recharging my batteries on the couch with some furries.

The lesson I've had to learn more than once is that health trumps work every single time (or else--the price to pay is far too steep).

Make sure you take great care of yourself today and every day (and if you can breathe through both nostrils, throw up a word of thanks!).

See you tomorrow!

Is your book working hard enough for your business? (Or, are you working smart with your book to build your business?) Reading time: 1 quick minute Hi Reader! Yesterday I promised to share that counterintuitive scaling idea that came to me during my "high maintenance" rest days?
