12/19/24 The "lazy" way to scale your book business (that actually works)

Reading time: 1 quick minute

Hi Reader!

Yesterday I promised to share that counterintuitive scaling idea that came to me during my "high maintenance" rest days?

Here it is: The most effective way to scale your book business is to do less, but do it deeper.

I know, I know--it might sound completely backwards! But here's what I mean:

Instead of creating 5 different courses, what if you took your best course and made it absolutely extraordinary?

Instead of launching three coaching programs, what if you focused on making one program so transformative that your clients can't stop talking about it?

My "Deep Scale Strategy" is how I've helped authors turn single books into multiple six-figure businesses without burning out.

Think about it like this: Would you rather have 10 shallow streams of income that constantly need your attention, or 2-3 deep rivers that flow steadily with less maintenance?

This is why I'm such a stickler about authors choosing their income streams carefully. When you go deep instead of wide, you actually create more impact with less effort.

Want to see exactly how this works? I share all about it in Building a Million Dollar Book Business--my course that is truly a deep dive into exactly how to build six- and seven-figure income streams (including step-by-step instructions with videos, downloadable agreements and templates, and so much more).

Get the course here: https://honoreecorder.com/bmdbb/ and use code subscriber to save 30%. For less than the cost of a latte a day, you can buy lattes for everyone, every single day, with some serious income streams in place. (Make mine a Cuban!)

I'll see you tomorrow!

Reading Time: 55 seconds Happy Friday--and what many call "Quitter's Day" (i.e., the second Friday of a new year). It's the day most people throw in the towel on their new year's resolutions, goals, intentions ... whatever you call them. Yes, I know it's technically the third Friday of the year, and also resolutions, goals, and intentions are different. (Not the point. Just sayin'.) Here's what I'm getting to: this is the day most people lose their resolve, question their ability to achieve...

Reading Time: 25 seconds So in this very busy second work week of the year, we've talked about celebrating your author anniversary, your book birthdays, and your progress. Because, it’s easy to get busy and skip celebrating … or skip celebrating because we’re conditioned to keep looking down the road at the next goal. Here's what I suggest you do with all that celebrating: you share it! I’m not talking about taking the "look at me" position because you’re so totally cool (because you are!)...

Reading Time: 8 seconds So, did you add those book birthdays to your calendar? (Good.) Now let's talk about something else worth celebrating: the fact that you set a goal and you're making progress. Maybe your progress isn't as fast as you'd like it to be (it might like you're hardly making any progress at all). That's okay. Progress is progress, and you're further along than you were yesterday, last week, or last month. (At least you're here, reading these emails, looking for hope and...
