Your Book Needs a Book MAP (Marketing Action Plan)

Yesterday I talked about mindset and having a plan. Today it's all about the plan, baby! #AustinPowersVoice

And while my Book Marketing Action Plans are extensive, once I've identified alllllllll of the things I could do with a book, I narrow down my activities to the few I can sustain.

If you're serious about selling books (or using your book to sell products or services), you'll want to create a detailed Book MAP with these essential components:

  1. Book Marketing Matrix - Your strategy blueprint covering:
    • Publish & Repurpose: Multiple formats and content expansion
    • Distribution: Strategic sales channels
    • Promotion: High-ROI visibility actions
    • Selling: Direct and bulk sales approaches
  2. Time & Money Commitments - Specific allocations, not vague intentions
  3. Three-Phase Timeline - Pre-launch, launch month, and long-term sustainability

I've watched authors transform from selling 5 books a month to 500+ (and engaging new clients consistently for maximum revenue growth) by implementing this structured approach. The difference is having a system versus random actions.
