Hashtag Your Way to #BookMarketing Success

Reading Time: 35 seconds

Today's tip is about #Hashtags. As you probably already know, they can provide an incredible opportunity for authors looking to increase their book’s visibility and attract new readers.

They might be old hat by now, but they do still work, so ...

Turn your book title, subject matter, name, or book’s formula into a hashtag and consistently use them in your posts. I use them in my LinkedIn posts (you can see one example here, and if we're not connected on LI, then let's be sure to do that) because leveraging them strategically helps content get discovered.

Keep in mind users are searching for topics related to your book, even if they haven’t heard of you or your work before. This means you could be connecting with potential readers who are already interested in your book’s theme or genre, increasing the likelihood of them becoming loyal fans and supporters of your work.

Imagine the excitement of seeing your hashtag being used by readers and fans, sharing their love for your book and recommending it to others. By regularly checking posts with your hashtags, engaging with users, and sharing their content, you can foster a sense of community around your book and create a buzz that attracts even more readers.

Book Marketing Mastery has two regularly used hashtags: #bookmarketing and #sellmorebooks. You can get the course and use code subscriber to save 30%, and learn all about whether using hashtags is a good idea for you and your book. What are you waiting for?
