Strategic decisions require specific answers

Reader, Yesterday I told you about Elizabeth.

She finished her book in three months and and she’ll tell you the Live Q&As made the difference.

Courses give you structure, and you can get some of your questions answered with some great AI. But what AI can’t answer are the specific questions about your specific book, empire, or situation.

Strategic decisions require strategic answers, and that’s what the Live Q&As are for.

When I designed my publishing, marketing, and monetization courses, I knew I'd want access to the expert if I were taking the course, so I added in the Live Q&As.

Think of it this way: if you have an emergency, do you call Information (411) or the Emergency line (911)? Said another way, when you have a real problem, you want to call someone with the real solution. Not get an answer that might work, could maybe save you some time.

Here's how the Q&As work: Once a month, we meet live on Zoom. Writers like you bring their questions, and I answer them in real time.

Sometimes the answer needed isn't that big, you might need a title tweak or timeline adjustment.

Sometimes it’s bigger--you're contemplating a monetizing strategy, figuring our your marketing positioning, or working on your pre-launch planning.

And sometimes the most valuable aspect is finding out what to do next, instead of wasting time and money trying to figure it out alone (or worse, getting the answer from someone who really doesn't know!).

If you’re already a member of the Q&As, consider this your reminder: Bring your list of questions. Write down what is slowing you down and bring them with you.

If you’re not yet a member and you want access and the ability to cut down your timeline and avoid avoidable mistakes --

Join us.

Our next Live Q&A is on March 10th from 1-3 p.m. CT.

You can attend your first month with a 50% discount. After that, your membership continues at $97/month — and you can cancel anytime.

Come see what happens when you get real-time answers!

See you tomorrow!

This past week, my client Elizabeth shared her story with me, and I want to share it with you, Reader. Seven years ago, she wrote a book (then she didn't do anything with it). Have you ever put time and effort into creating something, and then lost your momentum or motivation? (I know I have.) The manuscript sat on her computer, and even though she hired an editor, they weren't especially helpful. She wasn’t sure what to do next, so the manuscript just…waited. Waiting to be published, impact...

I was having a conversation with a friend last week. She said she was so exhausted and when I asked why, she said, "Well, my schedule is so full." Almost as an off-handed comment, she added, "And it's not doing sh*t I want to do, either." It came down to her saying "Yes." when she wanted to say, "NO!" That brings me to this bright and early Monday morning thought. Is this you: You got an invite, but you didn't want to go. You said yes anyway, because what would they think if you didn't? So...

Today's Olympics Movie Recommendation: Chariots of Fire (I'm not crying, you're crying!) Reading time: 30 Olympics-winning seconds The 2026 Winter Olympics are coming to a close this weekend, and I'm a little sad I have to wait two more years for the summer Games. 😢 I've been inspired by watching the athletes pour their hearts into every performance. We’ve witnessed the joy of victory, grace of perseverance, and heart-breakingness of defeat. There's one last AHA moment I've had this week: the...
