Happy Saturday!

Since it's the weekend before Thanksgiving, I thought I'd share something I'm grateful for: the power of intentional rest.

I mentioned taking my foot off the gas on Day 101--and I'm definitely looking forward to that. But don't get this part wrong about intentional rest--it doesn't mean doing nothing. Strategic rest is actually part of your work.

When I rest after completing my 100-days, I'm not just lying around, counting my chickens. I'm creating space for three important things:

  1. Reflection - What worked? What didn't? What surprised me?
  2. Integration - Momentum + sustainable habits = continued success
  3. Anticipation - Getting genuinely excited about what's coming next

A good friend of mine decided to take yesterday off--but she experienced something similar to my rest periods--the seeds she'd been planting unexpectedly bore some fruit! Opening up space allows magic to happen, so get ready!

Sprint hard, rest strategically, repeat.

With 16 days left, I'm already feeling that pull toward what's next. But first? I'm going to enjoy some turkey before I finish strong.
