Plot Twist—I'm Still Here

Reading Time: 23 still very chilly seconds

You might think by Day 6 of being iced in, I'd be climbing the walls or reorganizing my spice cabinet for the fourth time. Or drinking that peach moonshine one of our neighbors gifted us a few months ago.

But no (at least not yet, 😉)—I'm still locked in on my intended outcomes.

Some of you know I used to say I had a t-shirt that said, "I'm sorry I'm late, I didn't want to come." Then my brother got me one for Christmas. I may or may not be wearing it right now.

I digress.

Anyway--there's something absolutely luxurious about not being able to go anywhere. I don't have any errands I can run, nope can't get to the grocery store, post office, or to pick-up the drycleaning. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It's kinda fun for it to be just me (well, and four other adults, six cats, two dogs, and don't forget Monty (🐢), my work, and the occasional "run the dogs outside" to confirm that yes, it's still a winter wonderland out there. 🥶

If you're weathering your own storm (literal or metaphorical), you've gotta just keep going. Remember: Consistency beats intensity every time.
