Write your book in just 50 minutes a day

Reading time: 25 seconds

"I don't have time to write a book."

If that thought has crossed your mind, I have tried-and-true advice for you. Write Your First Nonfiction Book, I reveal how I write multiple books per year in just 50 minutes per day using the Pomodoro Technique:

  • Set a timer for 25 minutes and focus exclusively on writing
  • Take a 5-minute break
  • Write for another 25 minutes
  • Do this 5-6 days per week

This simple routine has helped me write and publish three to ten books per year while running multiple businesses (not including the book I produce for others).

You don't need a six-month sabbatical or weekend writing retreats. You just need consistency and the right process.

Reading time: 17.5 seconds The final chapter of my tried-and-true guide to "Write Your First Nonfiction Book" contains what I call "The Single Most Important Section in this Book." (Good, right?) My message is simple but powerful: Everything I share is a suggestion, not a rule. You can follow my formula exactly, or you can customize it to fit your unique voice and vision. What matters most is that you start writing and keep writing until your book is complete. As I say in the book's closing...

Reading time: 45 seconds I'm sure you have been wondering, What makes Honorée shake her head about books? You know, this, right, that your book isn't "just" a book—it's a...
