Is It Time for a Fresh Start?
I did my first quarter review over the weekend and while it wasn't everything I was dreaming about on New Year's Eve, I'm happy to report I made some great progress on some of my goals.
Others, not so much.
Tomorrow I'll show you what caused my physical training to go into overdrive (and put me on the couch with an elevated foot for a few weeks). 🙄
Believe me, you'll know it when you see it.
Tony Robbins said, "When we're successful, we tend to party. When we fail, we tend to ponder." So ponder I did.
Are you pondering, too? As we move into Q2 of 2025, I wanted to check in on you. How’s it going so far this year?
If you’re crushing your goals and riding high on Q1 successes–congratulations! Keep that momentum flowing.
But if Q1 didn’t quite go according to plan… if those ambitious January goals have faded into the background… if unexpected challenges threw you off course… I have good news for you:
You don’t need to wait until January 1, 2026 to press the reset button. You can do that right now.
Q2 is actually the perfect time to recalibrate and create a new plan. You’ve gained valuable insights from these first three months, and you still have plenty of time to make 2025 incredible.
Why Plans Fail (And What to Do About It)
Over my nearly thirty years as a coach, I’ve observed that when plans don’t work out, it’s usually due to one of these common issues:
- The vision wasn’t compelling enough. Without a crystal-clear picture of what you really want, it’s easy to lose motivation when challenges arise (or regain it once you've got the all-clear).
- No structured accountability. Even the most disciplined among us benefit from systems that keep us on track.
- Too many goals at once. Trying to transform everything simultaneously often leads to transforming nothing.
- No measurement system. Without tracking progress, it’s impossible to know if you’re moving in the right direction (or to miss the tiny changes that mean you are)!
- Going it alone. The entrepreneurial path can be lonely, and we all need support from time to time. Double the loneliness if you're building a book empire--lots of alone time writing and "all the things."
Does any of this sound familiar?
The Power of 100 Days
Years ago, I discovered something remarkable: 100 days is the sweet spot for significant transformation. It’s:
- Long enough to achieve meaningful results
- Short enough to maintain urgency and focus
- Perfect for establishing new habits that stick
Instead of trying to plan an entire year, what if you focused intensely on just the next 100 days? What if you selected one personal and two professional goals that would truly move the needle in your life and business?
Your Q2 Reset Opportunity
Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing details about a special opportunity to join a structured 100-day program based on my STMA (Short-Term Massive Action) framework. This system has helped countless professionals achieve breakthrough results in business and life.
But for today, I encourage you to reflect on these questions:
- What one area of your personal life, if transformed over the next 100 days, would make the biggest positive impact?
- What two areas of your business or career, if significantly improved by the end of Q2, would propel you toward your year-end goals?
- What systems of accountability could you put in place to ensure you stay on track this quarter?
Remember, it doesn’t matter what happened in Q1. Today is the perfect day to press reset, create a new plan, and commit to making Q2 the quarter where everything changes.
Looking forward to connecting with you tomorrow with an exciting announcement!
To your reset and renewal,
Honorée Corder Author. Executive Book Producer.
