What Cat Food and Feng Shui Have to Do With Your Book

We've been talking about cat food for too long, so I promise this is the last day. Hear me out. Plus I'll make it fast:

You need some type of accountability that makes it impossible to ignore the commitment you've made to yourself. If it's not cat food, what is it?

It might be what transforms you from "someone who wants to write a book" to "a writer."

Thus you need something that supports your writing (instead of sabotaging it). Like a reminder of your commitment, or an environment redesign, or a new belief. Or all of the above.

What visual reminder do you need? What space do you need to create? What identity shift do you need to make?

Your book won't write itself. (Trust me on this one.)

And. Your book isn't going to write itself while you wait for motivation, so you're gonna have to engineer the circumstances that make writing inevitable.
