🌟 Transform Your Environment with One Change (at a time)

Reading Time: Postcard (less than 30 seconds)

Steve asked a great question, "Do I need to make every single change to see results [with Feng Shui]?"

The answer is, unequivocally, no. You don't need to hire a Feng Shui consultant. You don't need to "Marie Kondo" your entire house. You just need to look at your environment with fresh eyes and ask:

"How does my space feel and is it helping me become who I want to be?"

If the answer is yes, leave it be! And if the answer is no? Change it, one thing at a time, no matter how long it takes.

Ms. Cat Food (I know you're missing her) didn't transform her entire house overnight. She started with her kitchen, got all fired up and continued into her bedroom, and then her office.

(You might discover you really dig Feng Shui and want to know more. Happens all the time.)

Now you: What is the one thing you could change in your environment today that would support your goals?

Maybe it's your workspace—if it's cluttered and chaotic, it will be impossible to focus on writing your book.

Maybe it's your mornings that need some attention—because if you haven't prepared the night before, the day won't be a effortless as it could be.

Or, maybe it's what you see when you first wake up. (If I roll into the kitchen ready for some magic beans and see dishes in the sink, I already feel behind.)

It's the one space that when you think of it, you go, "Ugh!" (Yup, that one.) Decide to get it in order, and start today.

Tomorrow I want to talk about how excellent Feng Shui impacts your book...and I'll see you then!

Reading Time: Postcard (less than 30 seconds) Did you know: Your environment is making decisions for you whether you realize it or not. There are dozens of micro-decisions you will make today based on the previous major and micro decisions you've made. If you're like me, when there are cookies in the house, you'll eat them. (Sure I can put them in the freezer "for the future" but the future is in about 20 minutes...) If my workout clothes aren't laid out the night before and ready to go, I...

Reading Time: Postcard (25 seconds) Yesterday I shared that Ms. Cat Food and I were Feng Shui practitioners--and boy did y'all love this idea. I promised to share some fun and effective actions you can take. Before I share them, let me say that everything is energy and if you have a problem, there's a good chance you've got some congestion. What you need is circulation, and Feng Shui is a circulation catalyst. Here's what she did, what I did, and what you can do: 1. Declutter everything. Get...

Reading Time: Postcard (<40 seconds) So I've chatted about having an accountability system (avoiding fat and any other types of shaming) and the importance of making an identity shift to make long-lasting change. But there's one more piece of her success story I haven't shared with you quite yet. And it's a piece people can tend to overlook when trying to make changes that last. It's something I was lucky to find more than 20 years ago myself. Now if you would have told logical me that it...
