Track It or Lose It

Reading Time: Long Postcard (less than 45 seconds)

I've got another secret ingredient for achieving your goals: Measure your progress. Every. Single. Day.

It might seem tedious, but here's why it's important:

  • What gets measured gets done.
  • When you track your daily wins, you build momentum.
  • You see yourself moving forward.
  • You celebrate small victories that fuel bigger ones.

I've failed in the past because I didn't track my progress, and I couldn't see that I was actually making progress. I know I gave up right before making a breakthrough on more than one occasion.

If you follow my STMA 100-Day Program, you'll track your measure daily and you always know exactly where you are percent-to-goal. Day 57? You should be at 57% of your goal. Behind? You know what to catch up. Ahead? You're crushing it.

No complex math. No guessing. Just clear, simple progress tracking.

So grab a notebook, a spreadsheet, or whatever works for you (you can even get the program, below, and use the STMA Dashboard). Track your one daily action. Watch the momentum build.

Your future self will thank you.

Tomorrow is Sunday, and I'm going to rest--hope you do, too. I'll see you Monday!

Reading Time: Postcard (less than 30 seconds) Unpopular opinion, but here we go: Having a backup plan is killing your dreams. I know, I know. Conventional wisdom says, "Always have a Plan B!" But here's the truth, Reader—when you have a Plan B, you're already planning to fail at Plan A. When there's no Plan B, Plan A tends to work out. If you don't have a backstop or a sugar daddy (or mama), or an exit strategy, when you've only got one direction, it's gotta work. Why? Because you've got to...

Reading Time: Postcard (less than 30 seconds) Yesterday I said, "As you pray, move your feet." Here's what that means: You can visualize and affirm your goals all day long, but without action, nothing happens. Think of it this way: Your subconscious is the navigation system, but you are the driver. You still have to turn the wheel, press the gas, and show up. So while you're reading your goal 3x daily (you are doing that, right?), also ask yourself: What's the one action I can take today...
