We've had a blast in Vegas--eating too much, laughing, and hanging out with friends this past week. Oh, and there is some exciting stuff happening in our businesses--more on that when the timing is right.

While we were in town, I was meeting with a member of my accounting team, and I couldn't--for the life of me--remember the guy she took over for years ago.* And that reminded me of a coaching client I had once who lost out on a huge deal ($225,000 in fees) because her prospective client couldn't remember her name.

Why? Because when he said, "Call me in three months," she waited six. By then, he'd used another headhunter and hired three other attorneys. (No regular email newsletter, no touching base to develop the relationship ... nada).

It's no surprise she lost the deal and I don't want that to happen to you!
